Certified Forklift Operator (Propane)

$16.00 / hr | Full-time | Agricultural Warehouse

One of our agricultural clients in Fenwick, ON is in search of a certified and experienced Forklift Operator to assist in a busy warehouse location.

Qualified candidates should have 1-2 years experience, be physically fit and carry a valid class G driver's license. Own transportation to Fenwick, ON is required. Shifts range from 8-12 hours per day, dependent on work load. Mon-Fri is standard, some Saturdays may be required, Sundays are off. Pay starts at $16.00/hour

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Operating a variety of equipment to load, unload and move materials and products (ie, Towmotors, dollies & hand trucks)

• Packing and unpacking goods

• Organizing and maintaining inventory

• Sorting, crating and stacking goods

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be 18+ years of age

• Own transportation

• Valid forklift operator certification

• Valid class G driver's license

• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

• Have good attention to detail and a desire for quality work

• Ability to read and understand written instructions

• Ability to follow verbal instructions

• Ability to work independently or in a team

• Have strong communication skills

• Be reliable, energetic & hardworking

• Have a positive attitude

• CSA-approved steel toe work shoes or boots (green patch) mandatory
