Recruiting, Screening & Testing
CAN Employment has an extensive roster of available candidates, all looking to find employment NOW. However, in the unlikely event that we do not already have the perfect employee registered with us to fit your specific needs, we will advertise to fill your requirements. There are no advertising costs to you when trying to fill a position. We meet our candidates, face to face, perform reference checks, and test general competency and knowledge of basic workplace safety.
Safety Training & Orientation
We assist our clients (when requested) with in-house training and job specific orientations to help save time and expense. Why spend hours on worker orientation with each new group? We have the tools and space available to host general orientations, specialized training and workshops geared towards qualifying the right candidates in the duties you require, at no extra cost to our clients. Our employees also participate in a series of standard Health & Safety training programs, updated annually.
Health & Safety Program Assistance
Development of full Health & Safety programs, WorkWell Audit preparation, modified duties placement options - CAN Employment can assist your company to stay above board in all that is Health & Safety. Our extensive program has been developed and tweaked over many years, with industry specialists' assistance to ensure that it is the most comprehensive, up-to-date and effective program available. CAN Employment operates at full compliance to all WSIB, CRA and other government regulated bodies.
Support for Large Volume Clients
We know that certain industries and seasons may require a larger number of workers to help get our clients through. The additional workers can cause strain on already overwhelmed supervisors and managers. CAN Employment offers services that can help alleviate that stress, from carpooling & busing (helps to ensure accurate numbers arriving to shifts on time), to team leads (a single liaison between your supervisors and the worker group) to group sign ins (a team member to ensure each worker is signing in appropriately for their shift), and more.
